Before starting the conveyor, the on-duty person should conduct a comprehensive inspection to check if the rollers are damaged, if the conveyor belt is loose, if the scraper of the cleaner is in contact with the conveyor belt, if the tightening screws are loose, and so on.
The lifespan of the conveyor is directly related to the maintenance of the operators. When operating, the following points should be noted: (1) The size of the material to be conveyed should not exceed the specifications; (2) Materials that are corrosive to the conveyor belt should not be conveyed; (3) The loading of materials should not subject the conveyor belt to strong impact; (4) The materials to be conveyed should be placed in the center of the conveyor belt to ensure smooth operation.
The maintenance personnel should be familiar with the structural and performance characteristics of the machine and strictly follow the safety operation regulations.
Regular maintenance should be carried out and worn-out components should be replaced in time.
If the conveyor belt runs off or sags, take timely measures to eliminate them.
